Qualified unemployed Vincentian nationals are being urged to apply for the Foreign English Teachers’ (FET) Programme with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China on Taiwan.
This is the second time the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and regional Integration is participating in this programme.
Foreign Service Officer, Jinel Adams says this is in keeping with the mandate of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to seek out opportunities for Vincentians abroad.
Adams said that to be eligible, applicants must hold an Undergraduate, Master’s or doctoral degree, as well as a teaching certificate and a police record showing that the applicant was not involved in any criminal activity.
Retired English teachers are also welcomed to apply. Application forms are available at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
