The Caribbean Takes Miss World And 1st Runner up

MARYLAND, United States, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 – Puerto Rican beauty Stephanie del Valle won the coveted Miss World 2016 title on Sunday, edging out runners-up from the Dominican Republic and Indonesia and other beauties from around the globe.

Del Valle, 19, who speaks Spanish, English, and French, and hopes to get into the entertainment industry, called it an “honour and a great responsibility” to represent her Caribbean island after being crowned by Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain.

First runner-up was Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez of Dominican Republic.
