A reliable source in the Windward town of Georgetown, St Vincent and Grenadines has informed News784.com that a power boat outfitted with four outboard engines washed ashore, earlier today, on the Mt Young beach.
The source said the whereabouts of the occupants are unknown because no one was seen on the vessel at the time it was discovered.
News784 is currently seeking an official report as to whether the vessel may have washed ashore by ocean current and wave action or by some other means.
Coast Guard officers are currently on the scene and are apparently overseeing the removal of the vessel from the shoreline where it was discovered this morning, close to the area where the Mt Young River meets the sea.
Reports from the scene say the boat is blue and brown in colour. We will bring you more details as information comes to hand.
